Hi guys, I hoped something like this would never happen, but unfortunately it did, I try to be brief, the PC died, despite all my attempts to fix it I could not solve anything, getting 8 blue screens of death in a week I think was a pretty clear signal.
To solve the problem immediately and not waste time I have already ordered the components to be replaced, the only problem is that they will arrive by the end of the month/early October.
Most likely between October 2 and 5 I will be able to get back to work, so the most logical solution as far as the build is concerned will be to merge the September build with the October build.
As soon as I get the pc back to life I will go right back to work to bring you the content you so love, otherwise, I remain available for any doubts or questions, I still have a phone I can use.

I greatly appreciate how open you are about issues like this, too many developers wouldn't have the communication with their communities to make that kind of statement. Take all the time you need to get back on on the grind, dont let the thought of a deadline affect the quality of your work. Were all here to see the awesome stuff you point out, the steady stream of frequent releases is mostly just a bonus!
As someone who both, has a laptop that has a brocken screen and use the normal pc one i can understand
And 2 months only? I wait for half a years at best lol in other things, one month is nothing

Gonna be real Zimon, you are one of the most active solo game developers on this platform, and by all means, there is no need to rush. Thanks for the information about the PC, and hopefully it will come back soon, but I can tell you this is one of my favorite games. When Im coming back for the story, and not just the newest H-scenes, its proof of hardwork and a good story. I cant wait to see what trouble our MC goes through when the update hits

Let's say I took the opportunity to do a general component upgrade, I only reused the newest components, I had gotten the ssds in April.
I really hope everything will be fine because Champion of Realms has one of the best storylines in an interactive visual novel that I have ever seen.
Just fix it....We understand... just relax and dont worry. All of us have had a Blue Screen of Death and know how it feels...

Nah I can't lose two weeks of work, I've already decided that the dialogues of the whole game will be improved, so I won't have to check them for quite a while and I'll bring the translations to 0.82
all well and good man, all im saying is dont burn urself out. u make some aweome content, and i doubt most of us would mind if u took a minute to refocus and realign if u needed it
How dare you have real life issues come up. In all seriousness take your time and don't let it get you too down, seems like the perfect opportunity to upgrade said components
In fact it is the only "silver lining" I can think of, it is also my fault that I have not thought of improving the components in 3 years.
No blame needed, everything burns out eventually and the last few years parts have been pricey. No one knows if said part will last 2 years or 10, I've seen people still using xp machines effectively for example.

Understandable Situation, nothing you can do if a piece of hardware decides it's time. I give my thanks for the great updates been playing for a while now, love the game.
Having personal device broken sucks. My PC also died these few day, getting dozens of blue screens before as well.
Anyway, take your time and hopefully no more unwanted problem struck you.

I just had to buy a new PC myself. Didn't get the blue screen, but Firefox and Chrome werent working anymore, I had to uses Microsoft Edge (ugh). I feel your pain.

To be honest, I'd never heard of it until now. At 70 years old, I'm not up on all the latest stuff. I will check it out, though.

Not much, I'll be able to fix it in the early days of october, in the end 0.83 will be like playing a double build.
